What Is PDO Thread Lift?
The PDO Thread Lift is the next generation in facial rejuvenation, in which micro-filaments and resulting collagen create a supporting “tissue corset”. The collagen ‘corset’ produces tissue tightening and wrinkle smoothing while restoring youthful contours.
It works by stimulating the body’s own collagen. The threads especially designed PDO filament, a material that has been safely used in humans for many years, is both FDA and CE approved.
Our PDO Thread Lift can be used to enhance and improve the appearance of a loose neck, sagging cheeks and jowls and droopy eyebrows.
We can personalise your treatment to suit your exact needs thereby ensuring that you are totally happy with the results
A thread lift is a type of face lift that is often referred to as the ‘lunch hour lift’ due to its simplicity and the time it takes to carry out the procedure.
A tiny entry will be made by the ear then fine threads are advanced along pre-marked contours.
The threads are made from polydioxanone (PDO) – the same material used for medical stitches – which dissolve naturally in the body over time. Once the threads are in place, your body starts to produce new bundles of collagen around each thread and, this in turn creates a subtle yet effective lift. The results differ for each person, but are very natural, giving a rejuvenated and refreshed look. There is no scarring and recovery times are a lot less than those associated with traditional surgery.

Frequently Asked Questions
We insert the threads under the skin using a needle in a way that replicates the ‘acupuncture’ technique – the thread is carried within the needle and deposited under the skin.
This encourages the body to form new collagen around the thread, responding to it in the same way it does to an injury by repairing it with the renewed collagen.
The threads fully dissolve over the course of a few months, which makes them safe to use in the body.
All that’s left behind is the results of the collagen production: smoother, tighter and more youthful-looking skin.
